The company BUTZBACH was founded in 1953 and is now managed in the second generation as a German family business. With over 250 employees, we are the specialist for hangar and industrial doors Made in Germany.

From planning, design, installation and commissioning to service, repair and maintenance, BUTZBACH provides you with all services for hangar doors and industrial doors, including high-speed doors and sectional doors, from a single source. We have in-depth know-how and many years of experience and can thus optimally respond to your requirements.

It all started with Arnold Butzbach, the company's founder, who, as a tinkerer and perfectionist, laid the foundation for our current industrial doors and at the same time defined the high standards we demand of our products. To this day, we have the highest demands on the quality, durability and functionality of our hangar doors and industrial doors, including sectional doors, lift door and high-speed doors. BUTZBACH history

1953

BUTZBACH was founded 1953 in Illertissen (Germany) by Arnold Butzbach. For the first few years, the company has been active in the fields of electrical engineering, motor winding and in the trade and repairs of electrical goods.

1977

Entry into the development, design, manufacturing and installation of industrial doors: The first fibreglass stacking door is born!

1984

The first fibreglass hangar door is installed at the Nuremberg Airport.

Market launch of the high-speed door NOVOSPRINT - The first high-speed door with horizontal opening technology.

1997

Market launch of the new fibreglass facade system VARIOPLANplus.

2004

Arnold Butzbach hands over the full leadership to his son Thilo Butzbach.

The new sectional door SECTIOLITE is introduced to the markt.

2013

The NOVOSPRINT high-speed doors reach top speeds of 5 m/s thanks to the horizontal opening principle.
