SECURITY & DESIGN

Can certified security go hand-in-hand with an attractive design? With Butzbach doors it certainly can. In contrast to the heavy steel doors customary on the market, the fibreglass used in burglar resistant Butzbach doors offers you a high transmission ratio and an appealing aesthetic. It is also stable and flexible at the same time. Inside the building there is a pleasant and bright working atmosphere.

CERTIFICATION

The burglar resistant Butzbach doors have been tested and certified by ift Rosenheim GmbH. Depending on the Resistance Category and Resistance Class, various test procedures are carried out, which the specially developed doors have to withstand in order to receive certification. The test is carried out according to the standards DIN V ENV 1627 and DIN/TS 18194. The protective effect is divided into different categories.
TEST CONTENTS RESISTANCE CATEGORY 2 (WK2)

The occasional thief tries to break open the closed and locked structural element with simple tools such as screwdrivers, pliers and wedges.

Determination of resistance under static load according to ENV 1628: 1999

Procedure: At various points, a load with defined force (1500-3000 N) is applied to the industrial door according to standard specifications. The continuity is checked with a gap gauge according to the resistance category.

Determination of resistance under dynamic load according to ENV 1629: 1999

At various points, a load is applied to the test piece by a pendulum body (30 kg sandbag) at a drop height of 800 mm.

Determination of resistance to manual burglary attempts according to ENV 1630: 1999

Here, various weak points of the industrial door are manually put through their paces for 3 minutes using tool set A.

TEST CONTENTS RESISTANCE CLASS 2 (RC2)

The occasional thief tries to break open the closed and locked structural element with simple tools such as screwdrivers, pliers and wedges.

Determination of resistance under static load according to DIN EN 1628

Procedure: At various points, a load with defined force (1500-3000 N) is applied to the test piece according to standard specifications. The continuity is checked with a gap gauge according to the resistance category.

Determination of resistance under dynamic load according to DIN EN 1629

At various points, a load is applied to the test piece by a pendulum body (50 kg twin tires according to EN 12600) at a drop height of 450 mm and with a pendulum length of 1000 mm.

Determination of resistance to manual burglary attempts according to DIN EN 1630

Here, various weak points of the industrial door are manually put through their paces for 3 minutes using tool set A2.

TEST CONTENTS RESISTANCE CATEGORY 3 (WK3)

The perpetrator also tries to break open the closed and locked structural element with a second screwdriver and a crowbar.

Determination of resistance under static load according to ENV 1628

Procedure: At various points, a load with defined force (3000-6000 N) is applied to the test piece according to standard specifications. The continuity is checked with a gap gauge according to the resistance category.

Determination of resistance under dynamic load according to ENV 1629

At various points, a load is applied to the test piece by a pendulum body (30 kg sandbag) at a drop height of 1200 mm.

Determination of resistance to manual burglary attempts according to ENV 1630

Here, various weak points of the industrial door are manually put through their paces for 5 minutes using tool set B.

TEST CONTENTS RESISTANCE CLASS 3 (RC3)

The perpetrator also tries to break open the closed and locked structural element with a second screwdriver and a crowbar.

Determination of resistance under static load according to DIN EN 1628

Procedure: At various points, a load with defined force (3000-6000 N) is applied to the test piece according to standard specifications. The continuity is checked with a gap gauge according to the resistance category.

Determination of resistance under dynamic load according to DIN EN 1629

At various points, a load is applied to the test piece by a pendulum body (50 kg twin tires) at a drop height of 750 mm and with a pendulum length of 1000 mm.

Determination of resistance to manual burglary attempts according to DIN EN 1630

Here, various weak points of the industrial door are manually put through their paces for 5 minutes using tool set A3.
